What is a Termite Barrier?

Termite barriers are designed to offer long term management of termites. It is a prevention and control method used to ensure your home or office premises is protected from termites and the damage they can cause.

The termite barrier is as its name suggests, a barrier that is applied around the home or property which prevents termites from setting up a nest in a property.

The termite barrier is a substance that is applied in the soil around the home or office building perimiter, and ensures that termite colonies are destroyed. The termite barrier product we use is Termidor, which is "the best protection against one of the most destructive pests."

How does Termidor work?

Termidor Termite Barrier system is a chemical substance that is undetectable by termites. Once termites travel across the barrier they carrier the substance back to their nest on the property. Any termites they come into contact with will die within a period of 5 to 21 days. The Termidor termite barrier system is a long term solution and has minimal maintenance however upon termites being detected we recommend a yearly termite inspection to ensure those nasty pests are kept at bay.

The Termidor Termite Barrier substance is completely safe for children and pets, giving you peace of mind.

The chemical products we use have passed rigorous Australian safety standards and are environmentally friendly for local flora and fauna.
